Malaysia Biomass Gasification Heating Project

2024-11-28

Before the 1970s, Malaysia's rapid economic growth led to severe environmental pollution. In response, the government implemented measures to limit deforestation and control industrial emissions.

Malaysia relies on coal imports for power generation, but with rising coal prices and limited domestic production, factories are facing higher costs. They urgently need affordable, clean energy sources.

Malaysia's forests cover 18.31 million hectares, with forestry waste available for biomass gasification. Biomass energy, derived from plant-based materials, is a renewable energy source. Factories previously used small biomass gasifiers, but now need larger ones due to increasing costs of coal and natural gas.

Guangdong Baojie’s biomass gasifiers can produce up to 35 tons of steam per hour, running for three months without shutdown, and are free from tar, clogging, and ash buildup, offering a reliable alternative to coal and gas.
